Pry up the middle panel with the flat head screw driver. Be careful not to scratch your trim (hence wrapping it in tape). It just pops right off, then make sure you disconnect the two plugs for the heated seat switches. Once its completely off, just place it on the passenger side floor.
Remove the two screws that hold in the ashtray.
