With the radio pulled out a few inches, remove the two plugs that go into the climate controls. Then you will be able to pull the radio out further. Then you have to squeeze your hand behind the radio, and disconnect two more white connectors, and the antenna connector.
Then the radio should be free. The 5 connectors are circled below for reference.
